.Who is leading the Pannership for Tomorrow initiative? <br /> The Cabarms Regional Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Partnership for Tomorrow. The <br /> fundraising campaign to underwrite the five-year program is chaired by Mike Coltrane, President of CT <br /> Communications. Troy Day, CEO of Day Enterprises, and Roy Davis, President of S & D Coffee, will <br /> serve as the Chairmen of the Campaign Leadership Council, along with a number of corporate and <br /> community leaders who have also volunteered their time and energy to lead Partnership for Tomorrow. <br /> <br />.Will I have an opportuni(y to get involved in Partnership For Tomorrow? <br /> Yes. The Parmership for Tomorrow Strategic Plan calls for a number of corporate and <br /> community projects focused on economic and community development. Every business leader in the <br /> Cabarrus County area will have the opportunity to participate directly in this initiative. <br /> <br />Who will administer the Partnership for Tomorrow 17ve-yearplan7 <br /> At the conclusion of the Partnership for Tomorrow campaign, a steering committee will be <br /> established. This committee, comprised of corporate and community leaders, as well as the leadership <br /> from the Partnership for Tomorrow initative, will account for all pledge receipts and disbursements and <br /> oversee the implementation of the five-year program. The Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce <br /> will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the Partnership for Tomorrow program. <br /> <br />.~ Will we be kept informed of the results of the Partnership for Tomorrowprogram? <br /> Yes. You will receive periodic reports, including progress updates through a column in the <br /> Chamber's monthly MEMB£RSnewsletter. You will also be invited to an annual Stakeholders' Meeting <br /> to learn of the program's progress, to hear about the previous year's accomplishments and to chart the <br /> activities of the program for the coming year. <br /> <br />Will my company receive recognition o£its investment in Partnership for Tomorrow? <br /> Yes. The Partnership for Tomorrow Honor Roll will be published in local newspapers at the <br /> conclusion of the campaign. In addition, a special plaque will be erected at the Cabarrus Regional <br /> Chamber of Commerce recognizing every member of the Partnership for Tomorrow. <br /> <br />.Who developed the Pm lnership £or Tomorrow Strategic Plan? <br /> The Strategic Plan is the product of more than 30 corporate, community and government Ieaders <br /> who worked together over several months to identify the challenges facing Cabarrus County and <br /> fommlate a cohesive five-year plan to address those issues. <br /> <br />Can I get additional information on Partnership for Tomorrow ? <br /> Yes. Additional information will be distributed at the Kickoff Breakfast on April 23ra at 7:30 <br /> a.m. at the Cabarrus Country Club.
