ICASARRUS COUNTYI <br /> <br />Memo <br /> <br />To: Board of Commissioners <br />From: John Day, Deputy County Manager <br />Date: February 2, 1998 <br />Re: Household Hazardous Waste Disposal <br /> <br />Over the past few months I have spoken to each of you about the need to <br />provide for the disposal of household hazardous waste in Cabarrus County. <br />you know, there are currently no facilities for such disposal in the county. <br /> <br />As <br /> <br />Sherri Barnhardt, purchasing agent, received two proposals (requests for <br />proposals were mailed to four companies) to provide household hazardous waste <br />COllection between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm Saturday, April 25, 1998 at <br />the Cabarrus County Fairgrounds. <br /> <br />Based on estimates of participation and volume of wastes delivered, it appears <br />the lowest-cost proposer is Ecoflo Environmental Waste Services, Inc., located <br />in Greensboro, NC.
