APPENDIX B <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br />INSTITUTIONAL NETWORK PROPOSAL <br /> <br /> January 1, 1998 <br /> <br /> The following information is supplemental to the franchise agreement between Cabarrus <br />County, North Carolina and Time Warner Entertainment/Advance Newhouse as incorporated in <br />section XII. <br /> <br /> Although the total cost of the Institutional Network is one hundred ninety-seven thousand <br />($197,000) dollars, in actual design and application there are two separate networks which are <br />designated and described as follows: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Educational INET. This network includes the following sites: <br /> <br />Concord High School <br />Northwest Cabarms High School <br />Central Cabarrus High School <br />Mt. Pleasant High School <br />A.L. Brown High School <br />Rowan/Cabarrus Community College <br />Cabarrus County School Administration Building <br /> <br /> The cost of the Cabarrus County Educational INET is one hundred sixty-two thousand <br />five hundred ($162,500) dollars. This network shall incorporate two strands of fiber. <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Governmental INET. This network includes the following sites: <br /> <br />Cabarms County Governmental Center <br />Cabarrus County Human Services Center <br />Cannon Memorial Library <br /> <br /> The cost of the Cabarrus County Governmental INET is thirty-four thousand five hundred <br />($34,500) dollars. This network shall incorporate two strands of fiber. <br /> <br /> If the County so elects the Cabarms County Governmental INET shall incorporate four <br />strands of fiber for the additional cost of six thousand ($6,000) dollars, or six strands of fiber for <br />an additional twelve thousand five hundred ($12,500) dollars. <br /> <br /> The County and the Franchisee agree that the cost of the INET shall be paid by the <br />County, or passed through to the Subscribers in the County as designated in the franchise <br />agreement. <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br /> <br />
