Bennett ~ <br />Febmary 11, 1998 <br /> <br />Ambulance Collections Through Collection Agency <br /> <br />Cabarrus County began using a local collection agency for delinquent ambulance <br />collections in April 1997. Delinquent ambulance collections for the period April 1997 <br />through December 1997 have amounted to $94,895. After fees the net to Cabarrus <br />County amounts to $61,681. This is proving to be successful and we will continue to turn <br />over those accounts with balances after a six months holding period.
