h. <br /> I. <br />No charge <br /> <br />Used Tires: <br />1. <br /> <br /> DRAFT <br />Plastic containers, types I through 7 <br />All grades of scrap metal, except containers of any type. <br />Automotive/marine batteries <br /> <br /> Tires delivered by individuals other than tire collectors, tire processors <br /> or tire haulers will be accepted in loads of five or less at no charge. <br /> Individuals delivering five (5} or more tires must provide a completed <br /> Scrap Tire Certification form as required by N.C.G.S. 130A-309.58. <br />2. Tires from commercial establishments must be delivered directly to U.S. <br /> Tire Recycling located on Poplar Tent Road in Concord consistent with <br /> N.C.G.S. 130A-309.58. <br /> <br />Expression of Sympathy <br /> <br /> Chairman Casper extended condolences to the family of Frank Herrin. Mr. <br />Herrin had served as a Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor and as a <br />member of the Department of Aging Advisory Board. <br /> <br />Closed Session <br /> <br /> UPON~4OTION Of Cof~issioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Mills and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into closed session to consult with <br />the County Attorney regarding pending or threatesed litigation concerning Lake <br />Concord Venture as authorized by North Carolina General Statute 143-318.11(a)(3). <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Mills and <br />unanimously carried, the closed session was terminated. <br /> <br /> No action was reported from the closed session. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Casper <br />adjourned the meeting. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
