From the Desk of
Dennis Connell

Forms & Supply Inc.
704-598-8971
Ext. 290

To: Sherd M. Bamhardt, Purchasing Agent, Cabarms County
RE: Explanations concerning panel bid.

1. All items priced were figured with the same discount on each item.
2. Total price was figured on all panels and not by their number (example Al) The
reason for this is, I was keeping the cost figure in mind and configured the systems
using the back panels of one size system to hold the worksurfaces of another different
system. (See example CCA1A)
3. Task lights were not called for in the spec. sheet fi-om the architect but I included
them. If you do not want the lights then you must deduct the following amount from
the total cost: $12,215.55. This brings the total cost of the entire bid minus the task
lights, to $332,820.85. Cost of panel bid including the task lights and performance bid
is $345,036.40.
4. Most all panel systems are not the exact size as drawn by the architect. Most are
smaller but are designed for the greatest ease of use.
5. According to article 3.2.6 you required the power system to offer both ceiling and
base power outlets. I have included these in my design. If the electrician can
determine whether the power will come from the ceiling or the floor, then before you
order the systems you can delete the unnecessary electrical parts and reduce cost.
6. Panels quoted are HON CONCENSYS.
7. Price includes installation.
8. Installation will take approximately three or four weeks depending upon flow of
product.

If you need further explanation concerning any of the above or anything else please call me
at the above number.

God Bless and have a great day!

Dennis Connell
Office Design - Space Planning
