Theodore Roosevelt <br /> <br />In FY 97-98 $200,000 in matching funds were appropriated and awarded <br />during three phases of funding. These funds provided matching seed monies <br />for civic and community groups to construct or improve public park and <br />recreation facilities in Cabarms County. Non-profit organizations are eligible <br />to apply for funds to complete a project on public property owned by Cabarms <br />County, Cabarrus or the City of Kannapolis Board of Education, a <br />municipality within the county, or property leased to Cabarrus County or a <br />municipality for a minimum of fifteen (15) years. <br /> <br />Projects funded during 1997 - 1998 fiscal year were: <br /> <br />Fred L.
