Clifton, Jr., County Manager~0~~ <br />RE: Recognition of County Employees <br /> <br />The attached correspondence details that County employees increased the county-wide contribution <br />to the 1997 United Way Campaign in Cabarrus County to $15,547. This represents a nine percent <br />(9%) increase over 1996. <br /> <br />Unfortunately, this ~ll mean that I (and possibly SheriffCanaday) will have to wear a grass skirt (at <br />the appropriate time and place) to pay off on a commitment that I made.
