Dedicated and hard-working members with faithful attendance at meetings, training, and facility visits. <br /> <br />2. Highly visible in facilities through extra activities including friendly visits and even monitoring visits on weekends. <br /> <br />3. Good working relationship with residents and staff at facilities. <br /> <br />4. Excellent with facility visits and follow up on concerns and issues. <br /> <br />5. Consistent and good working relationship with regional Ombudsman. <br /> <br /> COMMITTEE CHALLENGES <br /> <br />1. Constant administrative and staffing changes in facilities. <br /> <br />2. Part me Ombudsman position for Cabarms County for all but two months of 1997. <br /> <br />3. Filling vacant committee positions with comm/tted and dedicated volunteers. Applicants are few and serving on the <br /> committee can be time consuming and demanding. <br /> <br />4. Need for increased training opportunities for members to be knowledgeable about long term care. <br /> <br />5.
