Mediation Center Incorporated <br /> <br />Judicial District: 19A Fiscal Year: <br /> <br />1997-98 <br /> <br />Short-Term Goal: <br /> <br />Process Objective: <br /> <br />Process Objective: <br /> <br />Outcome Objective: <br /> <br />Outcome Objective: <br /> <br /> Board, assisting Educational Group Leaders with Resolve classes, <br /> promoting the Teen Court Program and/or by participating <br /> in program fund-raising activities. <br /> <br />To build and enhance lifeskills within the community's youth and <br />to develop positive and supportive family relationships 'by offering <br />education and training to youth and their families with regard to <br />communication skills, anger management, conflict resolution, <br />values clarification, self acceptance and self-respect, <br />respect for others, understanding diversity, making decisions, and <br />accepting responsibility. <br /> <br />To offer a series of classes in the above-mentioned topics, referred <br />to as Resolve, for youth offenders accepted into Teen Court. <br /> <br />To develop a referral procedure for referring youth offenders to <br />other agencies' services. <br /> <br />That of the 42 youth offenders who attend Teen Court heatings, 24 <br />will participate in Resolve in FY 98/99 and 20 will successfully <br />complete the series of classes. <br /> <br />That of the 20 youth who successfully complete Resolve, 75% will <br />not receive school disciplinary actions in the form of either <br /> <br />Page 3c <br /> <br /> <br />
