April 30, 1998 <br /> <br />The Honorable Chairman and <br />Members of the Board of Commissioners <br />Cabarrus County <br />Concord, North Carolina <br /> <br />Ladies and Gentlemen: <br /> <br /> The County of Cabarrus commissioned Municipal Advisors Incorporated to conduct a <br />comprehensive Classification and Compensation Study for all employees and classes in the <br />County's workforce~ The results of the Classification and Compensation Study are presented <br />herewith. Every employee and supervisor in the County's workforce has had direct and personal <br />input. <br /> <br /> This Board Summary and the related volume, containing the salary schedule, schematic <br />list of classes assigned to salary grades and class descriptions, are presented for your review and <br />recommended to you for adoption. <br /> <br /> The information contained in this report is the product of the joint efforts of Municipal <br />Advisors Incorporated, your County Manager, Director of Human Resources and staff The <br />findings are the result of MAI's independent analysis.
