The driveways will be tied back into the road with "like" materials. (Ex.
if your drive is concrete it will be replaced in concrete, gravel with
gravel, etc.)

The road is being paved because the State Legislature passed a law
requiring all roads in NC to be paved in the next sixteen years. Edgefield
is frozen in the top ten rural roads to be paved.

Mr Hough stated that if he received a letter signed by 100% of the
property owners stating that we did not want the road paved, he would
take it to his superiors for consideration to be skipped.'

Mr. Hough did say that if the road remained unpaved, the2f could still
come in and maintain the Right of Way as they saw fit. He said he
wasn't making any promises, however, if he were to agree not to make
any significant changes to the Right of Way he is retiring within the next
1-2 years and his successor may view things differently.

Hopefully this infomiation has helped answer some questions for you. I
am not taking this opportunity to voice my opinion but rather provide you .
with the facts I have obtained. Mr. Hough was very nice and will he glad .
to answer any further questions anyone may have.

Yours truly,

Marty Crawford
