RESOLUTION No. 1998-23 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE ADDITION <br />OF THE TOWNSHIP, MAP AND PARCEL, <br />OR PARCEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER <br />ON ALL DEEDS TO BE RECORDED <br /> <br /> WFIF. REAS, employees spend a considerable amount of time researching township, map and <br />parcel, or parcel identification numbers after a deed is recorded in the Register of Deeds Office and <br />must again research the numbers in order to begin the mapping process in the County Assessor's <br />Office; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the addition of the township, map and parcel, or parcel identification number, <br />to a deed before recordation will save time, money and frustration for both employees and users of <br />Cabarrus County Land Records. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarms County Board of <br />Commissioners does hereby require the addition of the township, map and parcel number, or the <br />parcel identification number, to a deed before it can be recorded with the Cabarms County Register <br />of Deeds. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this action shall become effective June 16, 1998. <br /> <br />This the 15a' day of June, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Sue B. Bonds, Clerk to the Board <br /> <br />NOTE: This Resolution amends Resolution No. 1997-17 adopted on June 23, 1997 by removing the <br />requirement that the Assessor's Land Records Division verify the township, map and parcel number, <br />or parcel identification number, on a deed before it can be recorded with the Cabarrus County <br />Register of Deeds. <br /> <br /> <br />
