0 Developer says outlet sure, thing By MARK PLEMMONS Staff Writer CONCORD - Tanger Outlet Center Will soon close the deal on property at Kings Grant to build its outlet center. Earth work has been on-going for several weeks at the 37-acre site on the southeast corner of Speedway Boulevard and 1-85, directly across the interstate from the Concord Mills megamall. , "Construction activity will pick up significantly as soon as we close on the property;" according to Carrie Johnson Warren, spokesman fo~ the Greensboro-based develop- 'Warren said the closing is' expected within the next few days. Concord Mills is expected to b~. one of the iarges~ mall on the East Coast. Tanger plans 75 stores in about 300,000 square feet.
