DP £T <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />Authorizing the County Manager to Dispose of Real Property by Private Sale <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cabarrus County owns a 19.57 acre tract of land on the west side of <br />Corban Avenue, PIN it 5636-38-5838, on which is located the Cabarrus County Senior <br />Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County wishes to lease a portion of the above described property <br />to the L.I.F.E. Center, Inc., a non-profit corporation that provides services to the elderly <br />residents of Cabarrus County, for a term exceeding ten (10) years in length; it is therefore <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, that the County Manager shall dispose of, by private sale, pursuant <br />to North Carolina General Statutes Section 160A-267, the southwest portion of the 19.57 <br />acre tract, PIN# 5630-38-5838, immediately adjacem to the Cabarrus County Senior <br />Center, by negotiating the terms ora lease, including rental with representatives of the. <br />L.I.F.E.
