Bonds <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES <br /> <br />Nursina Eome Community Advisory Committee <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Casper, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter and <br />unanimously carried, the Board appointed Ms. Kay Frances Blakeney to the <br />Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee for a term of one year ending <br />September 30, 1999. <br /> <br /> Chairman Casper opened the meeting for Informal Public Comments. There <br />was no one preseDt to address the Board, and Chairma~ Casper closed that <br />portion of the meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br /> The following reports were included in the Agenda: (1) Local Sales and <br />Use Tax Update and (2) Compensation Claims Solutions Bill Review Program <br />Update. <br /> <br />Financial Charts - Education/School Debt Service Fundina <br /> <br /> Commissioner Niblock commented on the new financial charts prepared by <br />the Budget Officer to show expenditures of the County budget. He pointed out <br />the percentage for Education/School Debt Service funding was 39.62 percent of <br />the total FY 1999 budget of $89,760,742.00. This had increased from 31.16 <br />percent of the total FY 1996 budget of $71,606,384.00. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Casper adjourned the meeting at 8:05 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
