At this time, these representatives of the <br />County have been unable to reach agreement with you for the <br />acquisition of this property. <br /> <br /> This letter shall serve as official NOTICE OF ACTION under <br />North Carolina General Statutes section 40A-40 that the Board <br />intends to institute condemnation proceedings to acquire the <br />property identified herein in which you have or claim an interest. <br /> <br /> The purpose for which the property is being condemned is for <br />opening, extending and improving roads and access to County <br />facilities and for improving County recreational and governmental <br />facilities with the intent to be in fee simple. <br /> <br /> In the course of delineating the area and interest 'intended <br />for condemnation, the Board has determined, and gives notice at <br />this time, that any timber/buildings/structures/ permanent <br />improvements/fixtures situated within the property to be acquired, <br />may be permitted to be removed by the owners of such items, <br />pursuant to G.
