66 <br /> <br />Articles of Association and A==e~m~-t for the Ce~tralina Workforce <br />Develonment Consortium and a Resolution ADDrovina the Articles of Aseoc~ation <br />and A~reement for the Centraltna Workforce Development ConBortl~lm <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner <br />Barnhart and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Articles of <br />Association and Agreement for the Centralina Workforce Development Consortium <br />and adopted the following Resolution. <br /> <br /> Resolution NO. 1998-38 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ARTICLES <br /> OF ASSOCIATION AND <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE CENTRALINA WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT <br /> CONSORTIUM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the counties of Cabarrus, Iredell, Lincoln, Rowan, Stanly and <br />Union as independent and contiguous units of general purpose local government <br />do hereby agree to continue as the Centralina Workforce Development <br />Consortium to act jointly as. a Service Delivery Area (SDA) under the Job <br />Training Partnership Act (JTPA) Of 1982, as amended. <br /> WHEREAS~ certain technical revisions to the original ~Articles of <br />Association" and subsequent amendments, including the addition of <br />requirements of the Welfare-to-Work Grant, have been made for Program Years <br />98 and 99 and have been executed by the Chairman of this Board on behalf of <br />this county, subject to ratification of such action by the Board; now, <br />therefore it is <br /> RESOLVED, that the execution of the aforesaid 'Articles of Association <br />and Agreement For The Centralina Workforce Development Consortium" by our <br />Chairman is ratified and adopted by this Board. <br /> <br />Fiscal Year 1998-1999 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner <br />Barnhart and unanimously carried, the Board approved the following projects <br />for Parks and Recreation Matching Incentive Grants for Fiscal Year 1998-99. <br /> <br />Phase - Incentive Grant ADolications <br /> <br />Organization <br /> <br />Mt.
