EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />BOC proposes to construct and operate an Air Separation Unit (ASU) plant in Midland, North Carolina, <br />on a site located off Highway 601 in the Wallace Industrial Park. The proposed Facility would <br />incorporate innovative, industry-leading process design and technologies, and would enable the company <br />to provide more efficient service to customers throughout Cabarrus County, North Carolina and the <br />southeastern United States. Estimated initial project costs for the development of this plant will be <br />$31,000,000. The project would create an estimated 30 permanent, full-time jobs at an average'salary of <br />approximately $35,000 per year. <br /> <br />The contemplated Facility would consist of the construction of entirely new buildings on the Property <br />and the installation of equipment, machinery and other personal property in and around those new <br />buildings. The plans for the Facility are presently undergoing development, and are and will remain <br /> <br />subject to change.
