Resolution No. 1998 - <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> FOR CALENDAR YEAR 1999 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the Cabarms County Board of Commissioners are currently <br />held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 P.M. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the <br />Governmental Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and the National Association of Counties Annual <br />Conference require a change in the regular meeting dates in January and July, 1999, respectively. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners, <br />pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40(a), does hereby reconfirm its regular meeting schedule <br />to meet on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 P.M. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the <br />Governmental Center with the exception of the January 1999 meeting which will be held at 6:30 P.M. on <br />January 19, 1999, and the July 1999 meeting which will be held at 6:30 P.M. on July 12, 1999. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the regular meeting dates of the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners for the calendar year 1999 are as follows: <br /> <br />January 19, 1999 (Tuesday) <br />February 15, 1999 <br />March 15, 1999 <br />April 19, 1999 <br />May 17, 1999 <br />June 21, 1999 <br />July 12, 1999 <br />August 16, 1999 <br />September 20, 1999 <br />October 18, 1999 <br />November 15, I999 <br />December 20, 1999 <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any recessed, special or emergency meeting will be held as <br />needed with proper notice as required by North Carolina General Statute 153A-40. <br /> <br />Adopted this the 7th day of December, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Chairman, Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Frankie F.
