remain in full force and effect without regard to the clause(s), sentence(s), provision(s), <br />paragraph(s), or other part(s) invalidated. <br /> <br />In the event that parties to this Agreement have entered into other mutual aid and assistance <br />contracts, for example pursuant to Chapter 160A of the North Carolina General Statutes, those <br />parties agree that to the extent a request for mutual assistance is made pursuant to this agreement, <br />those other mutual aid and assistance contracts are superseded by this Agreement. <br /> <br />Section XVII.
