NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT TO <br /> CLOSE EASEMENTS DEDICATED <br /> FOR PUBLIC ROADS <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, at the December 16, 1996, meeting of the Board of <br />Commissioners for Cabarrus County (the "Board"), the Board <br />acknowledged receipt of a Petition to adopt a Resolution and Order <br />closing approximately five hundred (500) feet of Woodsdale Drive <br />and closing Country Side Drive between Woodsdale Drive and Twinkle <br />Drive, in Township 6, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, both more <br />particularly described in Map Book 10, Page 77, in the 'Office of <br />the Register of Deeds of Cabarrus County (the "Roads"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to N.C.G.S. 153A-241, it is the intention of <br />the Board to conduct a public hearing to close the Roads; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board desires to notify the public regarding said <br /> <br />public hearing on the issue of closing the Roads. <br /> BE IT THEREFORE, RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br /> 1. A meeting and public hearing on the closing of <br />approximately five hundred (500) feet of Woodsdale Drive and all of <br />Country Side Drive, Township 6, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, <br />shall be held before the Board at 7:00 P.M., on the 21st day of <br />January, 1997, or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard. <br /> <br /> 2. This Resolution declaring the Board's intent to close <br />easements dedicated for public roads be published in The <br />Independent Tribune on Monday, December 23 and 30, 1996, and <br />January 6 and 13, 1997, and be prominently posted on at least two <br />(2) places along the Roads. <br /> <br /> 3. At said hearing, the Board shall hear all interested <br />persons who appear with respect to whether the closing will be <br /> <br /> <br />
