NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />C~BAI~US COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECI~%RING INTENT TO <br /> CLOSE EASEMENTS DEDICATED <br /> FOR PUBLIC RO]tD <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, at the December 16, 1996, meeting of the Board of <br />Conumissioners for Cabarrus County (the "Board"), the Board <br />acknowledged receipt of a Petition to adopt a Resolution and Order <br />closing approximately three hundred (300) feet of King Arthur Court <br />north of its termination at a cul-de-sac, in Township 4, Cabarrus <br />County, North Carolina, more particularly described in Map Book 15, <br />Page 34, in the Office of the Register of Deeds of Cabarrus County <br />(the "Road"); and <br /> <br /> waEREAS, pursuant to N.C.G.S. 153A-241, it is the intention of <br />the Board to conduct a public hearing to close the Road; and <br /> <br /> WaEREAS, the Board desires to notify the public regarding said <br /> <br />public hearing on the issue of closing the Road. <br /> BE IT THEREFORE, RESOLVED <br /> <br /> 1. A meeting and public hearing on the closing of <br />approximately three hundred (300) feet of King Arthur Court north <br />of its termination at a cul-de-sac, Township 4, Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina, shall be held before the Board at 7:00 P.M., on the <br />21st day of January, 1997, or as soon thereafter as persons may be <br /> <br />heard. <br /> <br />2. <br />easement <br /> <br /> This Resolution declaring the Board's intent to close an <br /> <br /> dedicated for a public road be published in The <br />Independent Tribune on Monday, December 23 and 30, 1996, and <br />January 6 and 13, 1997, and be prominently posted on at least two <br />(2) places along the Road. <br /> <br /> 3.
