Bonds, Clerk to the Board Resolution Approving the Incurrence by Winecoff Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. Of Up to $1551700.00 Indebtedness from First Charter National Bank to Finance the Acquisition of One Fire Truck UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Mills and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution. RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INCURRENCE BY WINECOFF VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC. OF UP TO $155,700.00 INDEBTEDNESS FROM FIRST CHARTER NATIONAL BANK TO FINANCE THE ACQUISITION OF ONE FIRE TRUCK WHEREAS, the Winecoff Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. pursuant to notice duly given (the "Notice"), has held a public hearing on the proposed loan and considered the comments of persons who requested to be heard as evidenced by the minutes of the public hearing executed by the Secretary of Winecoff Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., and WMEREAS, neither the County nor any agency thereof shall be liable in any event for the repayment of the loan, the loan does not constitute an indebtedness of the County or any agency thereof and does not constitute or create in any manner a debt of liability of the county or any agency thereof; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to approve the loan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus as follows: 1. The publication of the notice and the designation of said meeting as a public hearing on the loan is hereby ratified and approved. 2. The incurrence by the Winecoff Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. of indebtedness of up to $155,700.00 to First Charter National Bank to finance the purchase of one fire truck, to be located at Winecoff Volunteer Fire Station, 328 Stewart Street, Concord, North Carolina 28027 is hereby approved. 3. Casper Chairman of Commissioners Development Services - Approval of Additional Buildin~ Inspector Position and Adoption of Related Budget Amendment UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Mills and unanimously carried, the Board approved an additional building inspector position and adopted the following budget amendment. BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES AMOUNT: $15,454.00 TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplement Request PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To add an inspector position - this will allow our department to maintain our current level of service as our number of inspections have increased dramatically over the last year and will continue to do so.
