Bonds, Clerk to the Board <br /> <br />Resolution Approving the Incurrence by Winecoff Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. <br />Of Up to $1551700.00 Indebtedness from First Charter National Bank to Finance the <br />Acquisition of One Fire Truck <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Mills and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INCURRENCE BY <br />WINECOFF VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC. OF UP TO <br />$155,700.00 INDEBTEDNESS FROM FIRST CHARTER NATIONAL BANK <br />TO FINANCE THE ACQUISITION OF ONE FIRE TRUCK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Winecoff Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. pursuant <br />to notice duly given (the "Notice"), has held a public hearing on the <br />proposed loan and considered the comments of persons who requested <br />to be heard as evidenced by the minutes of the public hearing <br />executed by the Secretary of Winecoff Volunteer Fire Department, <br />Inc., and <br /> WMEREAS, neither the County nor any agency thereof shall be <br />liable in any event for the repayment of the loan, the loan does not <br />constitute an indebtedness of the County or any agency thereof and <br />does not constitute or create in any manner a debt of liability of <br />the county or any agency thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to approve <br />the loan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus as follows: <br /> 1. The publication of the notice and the designation of <br /> said meeting as a public hearing on the loan is hereby <br /> ratified and approved. <br /> 2. The incurrence by the Winecoff Volunteer Fire <br /> Department, Inc. of indebtedness of up to $155,700.00 to <br /> First Charter National Bank to finance the purchase of <br /> one fire truck, to be located at Winecoff Volunteer Fire <br /> Station, 328 Stewart Street, Concord, North Carolina <br /> 28027 is hereby approved. <br /> 3. This Resolution shall take effect im~nediately upon its <br /> passage. <br />Adopted this the 17th day of February, 1997. <br /> <br />/s/ Frankie F. Casper <br /> Chairman of Commissioners <br /> <br />Development Services - Approval of Additional Buildin~ Inspector Position and <br />Adoption of Related Budget Amendment <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Mills and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved an additional building inspector position <br />and adopted the following budget amendment. <br /> <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES <br />AMOUNT: $15,454.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplement Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To add an inspector position - this will allow our department <br />to maintain our current level of service as our number of inspections have <br />increased dramatically over the last year and will continue to do so. <br /> <br /> <br />
