380 <br /> <br />DE,AFT <br /> <br /> There was no one else who wished to address the Board, and Chairman Casper <br />closed the public hearing. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Niblock, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Ordinance amending the <br />Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Ordinance No. 1997-15 <br /> PETITION 97-03(T) <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby <br />amended as follows: <br /> <br />Change Chapter Three "Establishment of Zones", Section 3-7, number <br />4 "High Density Residential Mixed Use Zone", so that Mobile Home <br />Parks are a Conditional Use instead of a Permitted Use. <br /> <br />Add number 26 to Conditional Uses in Chapter Eight, Section 8-4, <br />"Mobile Home Parks", to indicate that this use is Conditional in the <br />HDR zoning district with the following condition: <br /> <br />1. Ail submissions for a conditional use permit must meet the <br />standards of this section and the requirements of the Mobile <br />Home Park Ordinance for preliminary map submission, <br /> <br />Adopted this the 15th day of September, 1997 by the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Oommissioners. <br /> <br /> /s/ Sue B. There was no <br />one present to address this issue, and Chairman Casper closed the public hearing. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Soil Erosion and <br />Sedimentation Control Ordinance. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1997-12 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE CONTROL OF SOIL EROSION <br /> AND SEDIMENTATION <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Caharrus <br />County, North Carolina <br /> <br />Section 1 Title <br />~ts ordinance may be cited as the Cabarrus County Soil Erosion and Sedimentation <br />Control Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 2 Purpose <br />This Ordinance is adopted for ~he purpose of: <br /> a. Regulating certain land-disturbing activity to control accelerated <br /> erosion and sedimentation in order to prevent the pollution of water <br /> and other damage to lakes, watercourses, and other public and <br /> private property by sedimentation; and <br /> b, Establishing procedures through which these purposes can be <br /> fulfilled. <br /> <br />Section 3 Jurisdiction <br /> <br /> <br />
