The total requested funds is $78,038.50. The total cost of all projects is
estimated at $293,578.81.

On September 23, 1997, the Commission's Property Comn~ittee and staff reviewed all
applications and made recommendations. On September 25, 1997, the Cabarrus County Parks
and Recreation Commission reviewed the projects recommended by the Commission's property
committee for the Matching Incentive Grants. After discussion and review, the Parks and
Recreation Commission recommended funding of all submitted projects in the amount of
$70,000.
