NOTICE OF OFFER TO PURCHASE AN INTEREST <br />IN REAL PROPERTY FROM CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br /> Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 160A-269, and upon motion made and duly seconded at the October <br />20, 1997, meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County (the "Board"), the Board has <br />authorized the transfer of approximately 4.754 acres-q: of County Property (the "County Property") <br />to Cedar Corp., L.L.C., by negotiated offer and contract, subject to upset bid. An offer has been <br />made for the County Property in the amount of $1,575,050.00 under the terms of a purchase contract <br />(the "Contract") on file with the Clerk to the Board, a copy of which is available in her office. <br /> <br /> Any person has ten (10) days from the date of publication of this Notice to increase the Bid <br />by not less than ten (10) percent of the first One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) Bid and five percent <br />(5%) of the remaining Bid. To raise the existing Bid, a new bidder shall deliver to the Clerk to the <br />Board a deposit of five percent (5%) of the increased Bid, together with an executed offer in <br />substance sirrdlar to the Contract, and the Clerk to the Board shall thereafter readvertise the offer for <br /> <br />the amount of the increased Bid. <br /> <br /> This 21 st day of October, 1997. <br /> <br />Frankie F.
