Please <br />include these on the consent agenda. <br /> <br />1. Authorize the corporate resolution attached for Wachovia Bank to set up a new <br /> checking account for Cabarrus County as authorized by G.S. 159-31. <br /> <br />Authorize Compensation Claims Solutions, our insurance agent/consultant to pay <br />claims from two respective banking accounts at First Charter National Bank. One <br />account is for workers' compensation claims and the other is for general liability, <br />property and automobile claims. Further authorize that company to draw checks on <br />those accounts to pay valid claims on behalf of Cabarrus County. We have initiated <br />internal control procedures to monitor and fund these accounts only as necessary to <br />pay valid claims. Request Board of Commissioners authorization per G.S. 159-25(b). <br /> <br />3.
