The Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department <br />provides facilities and a diverse range of activities for all <br />residents of Cabarrus County on a year round basis. This is <br />best achieved by providing a broad umbrella of services for fill <br />residents by coordinating and cooperating with other agen- <br />cies, the school systems, and volunteer groups in theprovision <br />of services by utilizing the County's existing resources to the <br />optimum and by providing counseling and guidance to others <br />who provide recreational services. Through this cooperative <br />effort, expanded facilities and community services are made <br />available to the tax payer at a lower total cost. <br /> <br /> The Department strives to enrich the lives of all residents <br />by providing quality programs and facilities that are both <br />educational and creative.
