STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA ) <br /> ) <br />COUNTY OF CABARRUS ) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, General Statute 160A-266 allows the Board to sell personal <br />property valued at less than $10,000.00 through private negotiation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, General Statute 160A-267 directs the Board to authorize an <br />appropriate official to dispose of identified property by private sale at a negotiated <br />price; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Board desires to dispose of one (1) Dictaphone Veritrac <br />Recorder - Model 5500, 40-channel recorder; one (1) Dictaphone Reproducer - <br />Model 5500, 40-channel playback; and, sixty (60) Dictaphone recording tapes. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of <br />Cabarrus County as follows: <br /> <br /> That in accordance with the provisions of General Statute 160A-267, this <br />Board authorizes the County Purchasing Agent to dispose of the aforementioned <br />property by private sale at a negotiated price. <br /> <br />Adopted this 19th day of February, 1996. <br /> <br />JEFFREY L.
