NOTICE OF OFFER TO PURCI~ASE AN INTEREST <br />IN REAL PROPERTY FROM CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br /> Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 160A-269, and upon motion made and duly seconded at the July 27, <br />1996, meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County (the "Board"), the Board has <br />authorized the transfer of approximately 200 acres ± of County Property (the "County Property") to <br />Lake Concord Ventures, L.L.C., by negotiated offer and contract, subject to upset bid. An offer has <br />been made for the County Property in the amount of $10,000.00 per acre (approximately <br />$2,000,000.00) under the temis ora contract (the "Contract") on file with the Clerk to the Board, <br />a copy of which is available in her office. <br /> <br /> Any person has ten (10) days from the date of publication of this Notice to increase the Bid <br />by not less than ten (10) percent of the first One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) Bid and five (5) percent <br />of the remaining Bid. To raise the existing Bid, a new bidder shall deliver to the Clerk to the Board <br />a deposit of five (5) percent of the increased Bid, together with an executed offer in substance similar <br />to the Contract, and the Clerk to the Board shall thereaf[er readvertise the offer for the amount of <br />the increased Bid. <br /> <br /> This 27th day of August, 1996. <br /> <br />Frankie F.
