Canaday~P'~ <br /> <br />September 9, 1996 <br /> <br />Board of Commissioners Review of the Cabarrus County <br />Jail "Policy and Procedures Manual" <br /> <br />It has been several years since the Board reviewed and adopted <br />the Cabarrus County Jail Policy and Procedures Manual. <br /> <br />Only minor changes have been made over the past several years but <br />I feel that with the implementation of the new section 4.17 it <br />would be an appropriate time for them to review and adopt the <br />manual as amended. <br /> <br />I am implementing the new policy found in section 4.17 on October <br />t, 1996. <br /> <br />In reviewing the statute I do not need Board authority to take <br />this action but they need to be aware of it and if possible <br />review and re-adopt the entire policy and procedures as outlined <br />in the manual. <br /> <br />If you or the Board have any suggestions as to changes or <br />improvements to the manual I will be glad to discuss them at your <br />convenience. <br /> <br />I would like to have some type of written response to document <br />the Boards action. <br /> <br />Thanks... <br /> <br />P.O.
