Box 707 <br />Concord, NC 28026-0707 <br /> <br />Dear Jonathan: <br /> <br />RE: Hawick Co~.,,nons <br /> <br /> With regards to the preliminary subdivision approval being <br />denied First Colony Group, Ltd. for the above-noted property, <br />please accept this letter as my request to appeal said ruling of <br />the Planning Board to the County Board of Commissions. <br /> <br /> With all due respect, I was quite disappointed by the action <br />of the Cabarrus County Planning Board, for I believe that First <br />Colony Group, Ltd. has complied with all rules and regulations as <br />stipulated within the Cabarrus County Subdivision Ordinance. <br /> <br /> This plan is indeed a fine example of what good planning can <br />be: <br /> <br />lots of common area for resident enjoyment, <br />buffers, <br />medium density with small lots for a nice "community', <br />feel, <br />and the ability to leave the creek banks and wooded <br />buffer virtually untouched. <br /> <br /> It is our hope that this matter can be heard during the <br />December 16, 1996 meeting.
