Canaday <br /> <br />December 30, 1994 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: ABC Designated Official <br /> <br />In reference to your memo to me dated 9-16-94 I have spoken with <br />the local ABC officer, Mr. Herman "Buddy" Watts, about this matter <br />and he has advised me that we do need to be on the list of persons <br />notified about permit applications. <br /> <br />The current extent of our involvement outside of Concord and <br />Kannapolis would be for private clubs with brown bagging permits. <br /> <br />The Sheriff, having county wide law enforcement responsibilities <br />and powers, would need to be in the loop for receiving information <br />on potential permit holders throughout the county. <br /> <br />I have prepared the proper resolution and provided the names of <br />parties as indicated on the form they sent to us. <br /> <br />I guess the next step would be adoption by the board. <br /> <br />Thank you for sharing this information with me. <br />questions please let me know. <br /> <br />If you have any <br /> <br />P.O.
