On that day we began a year-long celebration of <br />special television programs and public events across the state. <br /> <br />Your county has a special relationship with UNC-TV, because one of our <br />transmitters, WUNG-TV/Channel 58, is licensed to Concord in Cabarrus County. <br />Since we will be honoring our viewers, supporters and volunteers statewide during <br />FESTIVAL 95 in March, I would like to ask the county commissioners to proclaim <br />March 1995 as "UNC-TV Month" in Cabarms County. <br /> <br />Inctuded with this letter is a draft proclamation which describes the considerable <br />investment that the citizens of Cabarrus County have already made as viewers and <br />supporters ofUNC-TV.
