MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />To: Susie Bonds <br />From: Sarah LaBelle, Transportatin Planner <br /> Local Coordinator, KANLACON Urban Area <br />Date: February28, 1995 <br /> <br />Re~ <br /> <br />Commissioner's Meeting of 3/20 <br />Request to be placed on the agenda <br /> <br />Attachment <br /> <br />Please include my presentation on the 3/20 County Commissioner's agenda to request the <br />signing of a resolution admitting the Town of Han'isburg into the KANLACON Urban <br />Area Metropolitan Planning Organization. Additionally, the Memorandum of <br />Understanding (MOU), which is the contract with the State and Cabarrus County to <br />conduct transportation planning, needs also to be signed. <br /> <br />The Transportation Advisory Committee voted unanimously to admit Harrisburg on <br />9/14/94. After the action to include the town, all member jurisdictions of the MPO need <br />to change their MOU's to reflect the addition. There are no other changes to the <br />agreement. Once all jurisdictions are signed, the documents are countersigned by the <br />State Highway officials making it binding. A copy of the resolution has been included for <br />review. <br /> <br /> <br />
