Barnhardt <br />Purchasing Agent <br /> <br />February 28, 1995 <br /> <br />LAN Workstations <br />Department of Social Services <br /> <br />On February 10, 1995, I placed a legal advertisement requesting sealed bids for a group of <br />30, 35 or 40 LAN Workstations for the Cabarrus County Department of Social Services. <br />Sealed bids were received and opened, publicly, on Friday, February 24, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. <br />The Bid Tabulation is attached. <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Cook, Social Services Director, has recommended that the County purchase the <br />largest quantity of 40 workstations for the department. <br /> <br />Based on the enclosed information, the lowest bidder is not considered the lowest responsible <br />bidder due to the fact that we received no Bid Bond or Bid Deposit.
