]CABARRUSCOUN~I <br /> <br />NO~TH C~ROLINA <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County <br />Home and Community Care Block Grant for Older Adults <br /> <br />PROJECTED UNIT COST JUSTIFICATION FOR TRANSPORTATION <br /> <br />After calculating the Unit Cost for our Transportation Services for older adults we have <br />dete~rrfined our cost per unit will increase to $3,7714. This figure is $.0814 per unit higher than <br />the allowable rate of $3.69. Please accept the following reasons as justification for this increase. <br /> <br />We have requested, in our Cabarrus County Department of Aging budget <br />for FY'96, the addition of a new Transportation Coordinator position. <br /> <br />The new contract between the Cabarms County Planning and Zoning <br />Department and Mayflower Contract Services, as approved by the <br />Cabarms County Board of Commissioners, includes a 10% increase for <br />contracted services. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Michael L.
