General Information <br /> <br />Members may serve for three consecutive two-year terms or a total of six <br />years. After a one-year lapse in membership, said member is eligible for <br />reappointment. <br /> <br />- Alternates serve for a one-year term. <br /> <br />No Advisow Commi~ee Member shall be employed by an Agency which is <br />receiving Older American Act funds. <br /> <br />At least 50% of appointees should be over 60 years of age. The Committee <br />meets about once every three months and advises the staff and COG Board <br />on the Area Plan, allocation of funds, etc. <br /> <br />C. Specific Requests <br /> <br />Marguerite Metz has served three terms for a total of six years and is not <br />eligible for reappointment. <br /> <br />Jean Brownlow has served as an alternate for one year and may be <br />reappointed for another one-year term if you wish or can be moved into the <br />member position and a new alternate be appointed. <br /> <br />Centralina Private Industry Council (PIC) <br /> <br />A. Current Membership <br /> <br />Cabarrus County has four (4) members on the twenty (20) member Private <br />Industry Council. The Cabarrus County Commissioners will select and approve <br />nominations for PIC members based on the slate of nominations presented by <br />the appropriate agencies and organizations listed under "General Information". <br />Each PIC member is appointed to serve a two-year term. Upon approval by the <br />county commissioners, individuals may be reappointed. <br /> <br />Name Representing Term Expires.
