Intergovernmental <br /> <br />Establish correct county lines between Cabarrus/Rowan/Iredell/Stanly <br />Find ways to merge county and city services that will increase cost-effectiveness <br />(provide services that are needed at the least cost). <br />Foster good relations between the Board of Commissioners and other local boards <br />- collaborate. <br /> <br />Edncation <br /> <br />Continue to work with school boards to provide facilities (existing and new) that <br />they need while fulfilling our accountability to county taxpayers. <br />Facilitate merger of the two school systems. <br />Work with schools to make school budget presentation formats clear to <br />Commissioners and the public. <br /> <br /> <br />
