PROPOSAL <br /> <br /> This proposed School/Park is designed as a community-serving facility to serve residents of <br />Cabarrus County. Park and Recreation facilities in the area are in extremely short supply and the <br />demand for adequate recreation space is gmat. <br /> <br /> The Proposed Ma~j L. Flowe Brown School/Park is designed to function as a community - <br />serving and countywide facility; and facilities include tennis courts, youth baseball/softball fields, <br />soccer fields, picnic facilities, swimming aquatic center, play areas, amphitheatm, hiking and nature <br />trails, a community meeting ceflter, and basketball courts. A trail system is proposed to link this <br />school/park to the present Central Cabarrus High School. <br /> <br /> <br />
