Compiled key data elements for a 5-year analytical review. <br /> <br /> Data Center - Continued to monitor and collect statistical information relating to <br /> municipalities and counties within the Region and State. Disseminated information upon <br /> request to local governments and private sector. <br /> <br /> Small Cities CDBG - Working to have regional allotment of CDBG-CR funds by Division <br /> of Community Assistance (DCA), met with State and local officials. <br /> <br /> Regional Planners Meeting - Dr. Bill McCoy of the Urban Institute at UNC Charlotte met <br /> with Region F Planners to compare demographics of the Charlotte Region with other <br /> similar-sized metropolitan areas. Dr. McCoy also gave an overview of growth patterns in <br /> the region. <br /> <br /> Emer~lency Services Activities <br /> <br /> Completed most data collection for regional ambulance placement project. <br /> <br /> Regional Emergency Services Activities <br /> <br /> Coordinated and attended Metrolina Trauma Forum at University Memorial Hospital <br /> Planned and attended training session for regional EMS planners <br /> <br /> Coordinated EMS Directors and Education and Training Committee meeting to develop <br /> position on new Basic Life Support regulations; wrote formal comments and presented <br /> them on behalf of committees at public hearing in Asheville <br /> <br /> Published statewide EMS training calendar to EMS providers in the region. <br /> <br /> <br />
