Page I of 2 <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Amendment Number 1 to Agreement, HOME AND COMMUNITY CARE BLOCK GRANT FOR <br />OLDER ADULTS AGREEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF COUNTY-BASED AGING SERVICES <br /> <br /> This Amendment, entered into this 15th day of November ,1995 , by and <br /> <br />between, the County of Cabarrus (hereinafter called the County"); and the <br /> <br />Centralina Council of Governments (for services provided by its Area Agency on Aqing), (hereinafter <br />called the "Council"); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH THAT; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council and the County entered into that certain agreement dated <br />July 1, 1995 pursuant to which the County was to provide for certain aging services <br /> <br />in connection with activities financed through the Home and Community Care Block Grant; and <br /> WHEREAS, certain changes need to be made in the total grant funds; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed that the aforesaid Agreement be and it is hereby amended <br />in the following respects: <br /> <br /> 1. Paragraph 3 of the Agreement is amended by deleting therefrom the sum of <br /> <br /> $ 340,002.00 and inserting in lieu thereof the sum of ,$ 346,616.00 , so <br /> <br /> that the total compensation and reimbursement to be paid the County under <br /> <br />this Agreement, ~nd all Amendments hereto, shall not exceed the sum of <br /> <br /> $ 346,616.00 in total grant funds. <br /> <br />In consideration of the inrease in funds provided, the County shall provide increased <br />services as specified in EXHIBIT A. <br /> <br /> <br />
