CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Meeting Date 12/18/95 <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Public Health Authority - Appointment of Task Force <br /> <br />The Board adopted the following motion on November 16, 1995. <br /> To adopt the proposed Public Health Authority in concept and that the Board <br /> of Commissioners appoint a Task Force to put together more specifics and a <br /> detailed financial analysis as well as bring back some potential candidates for <br /> appointment to the Authority. All this is to be accomplished by the second <br /> meeting of the Board of Commissioners in December with the Task Force <br /> recommendation to be brought back by the end of March. <br /> <br />On December 5, the Board agreed by consensus to the following:_ <br /> To appoint five key people to the Task Force, including the Public Health <br /> Director; Social Semices Director; Piedmont Area Mental Health Director; Mr. <br /> Tom Revels of Cabanw Memorial Hospital (or his designee); and the new <br /> County Manager. Each Board member will appoint two members to the Task <br /> Force. Further, the Board agreed to name Dr. lgqlliam F.
