CHILD SUPPORT AWARENESS MONTH <br /> IN CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />PROC!.AMATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the children of Cabarrus County are provided paternity, support establishment <br />and enforcement services by the Child Support Unit of the Department of <br />Social Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there is a need to make the public aware of this service as one that is <br />available to all citizens who have dependent children in the home and receive <br />no child support from their natural parents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, February is traditionally recognized as the Heart/Love Month and emphasis <br /> is placed on giving to those persons you love; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is an ongoing need for parents to provide financial support for their <br /> children as an expression of love. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners does hereby proclaim the month of February, 1994, as <br /> <br />CHILD SUPPORT AWARENESS MONTH IN CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />and urges all parents who are currently under court order to regularly pay their child <br />support. <br /> <br />This the third day of January, 1994. <br /> <br />Jeffrey L.
