Box 707 <br />Concord, N.C. 28026-0707 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Witherspoon: <br /> <br />Due to the completion of the Coddle Creek Reservoir project, I am <br />attaching Revised Form SR-1 for adding 4,450' of the new NC 73 <br />relocation to our state maintained system and Form SR-3, for <br />abandoning 3,865' of the old portion of NC 73 from the state main- <br />tained system. This addition and abandonment is necessary due to <br />the relocation of part of NC 73 during the construction of Coddle <br />Creek Reservoir project. These actions will take the old section <br />of NC 73 off of our system and add the new section to the state <br />system. <br /> <br />To accomplish the above, I will need a resolution from the Cabarrus <br />County Commissioners to add the new part of NC 73 and resolution <br />to abandon the old part of NC 73. <br /> <br />Also, I will need you to provide me with nine (9) sets of as-built <br />plans, showing the plot plan and profile for the above project. <br /> <br />Attached is a cutout of the county map showing the location of what <br />is to be added and abandoned. <br /> <br />If additional information is needed, I can be contacted at area <br />code (704) 982-0104. <br /> Sincerely yours, <br /> <br /> DISTRICT ENGINEER <br /> <br />JAH/RWT/ka <br />Atta. <br />cc: File <br /> <br /> <br />
