Item 41 shall read as follows: <br /> <br />41. Self-Service Storage Facilities <br /> <br />Zones permitting based on standards: <br />High density/mixed use residential, <br />commercial. <br /> <br />office/limited <br /> <br />commercial, <br /> <br />general <br /> <br />STANDARDS <br /> <br />1) Parking: <br /> <br />a) Customer parking. Interior travel lanes which serve <br />storage units are required to have a parking lane with a <br />minimum width of 10 feet for loading/unloading <br />purposes. <br /> <br />b) Leasing Office/employee parking. One parking space <br />is required for every 100 storage units with a minimum <br />of three spaces required. <br /> <br /> 2) Interior travel lanes. One-way interior travel lanes must have a <br />minimum width of 15' in addition to the 10 foot wide parking lane. All <br />two-way interior travel lanes serving storage units must have two (2) 12-foot <br />wide travel lanes and be provided with a 10 foot wide parking lane. <br /> <br />3) Building height. <br /> <br />a) High density/mixed use residential and the <br />Office/limited commercial: May not exceed one story, <br />i.e., a maximum interior ceiling height of 10 feet - eight <br />feet with an additional two feet to accommodate a <br />garage-type sliding or roll up door. <br /> <br />b) General commercial: Height maximums are governed <br />by the zone. See Chapter Five, Dimensional <br />Requirements. <br /> <br /> 4) Lighting. All outdoor lights must be shielded to direct light and <br />glare only onto the facility's premises and may be of sufficient intensity to <br />discourage vandalism and theft. Lighting and glare must be deflected, shaded <br />and focused away from any adjoining residential property. <br /> <br /> <br />
