PETITION 94-07(t) <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 10-11. Miscellaneous parking requirements. <br /> <br />No storage of vehicles in active spaces: <br /> Vehicle parking in connection with residential uses <br /> must be actively used by residents, i.e., no storage <br /> of vehicles in active parking spaces. <br /> <br />Restriction on large vehicle parking: <br /> Trucks with more than two axles or vehicles used in <br /> connection with a commercial or industrial nature <br /> may not regularly park in a residential zone. In <br /> agricultural districts, such vehicles (including <br /> agricultural, forestry and lumbering equipment) may <br /> be parked but not on-street. <br /> <br />Number Two above will change to: <br /> <br />2. Restriction on large vehicle parking: <br /> <br />Vehicles of a commercial Or industrial nature with more than two axles including <br />but not limited to tractor trailers, cargo trucks and other heavy equipment are <br />prohibited from parking on a regular basis in the Medium Density Residential, <br />High Density/Mixed Use Residential Zones, as well as within areas developed <br />using customized development standards. Farm equipment and motorhomes are <br />exempt from this restriction when parked on the owners property. This <br />restriction shall not apply to non-residential uses that are Permitted, Permitted <br />Based on Standards, or issued a Conditional Use in these districts. <br /> <br />Adopted this the day of <br />Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />1994 by the Cabarrus County <br /> <br />Jeffrey L.
