S.oecific Request <br /> <br />During the past few years several county commissions have required <br />that old appointees, after serving a specific number of years, must <br />step down for at least one year before they can be reappointed. <br /> <br />Because of the complexity and technical nature of our work and <br />because of the many compliance requirements of the U.S. Small <br />Business Administration, we have always encouraged you, the <br />county commissions, to reappoint as many members as possible for <br />as long as they are willing to serve and actively participate in our <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Please appoint or reappoint members whose terms will expire. Each <br />appointment is for a one year term unless it is to fill a vacated <br />position. New appointments will cover the period 7/1/94 to 6/30/95. <br /> <br />Centralina Private Industry Council (PIC) <br /> <br />A. Current Membershi0 <br /> <br />Cabarrus County has four (4) members on the twenty (20) member <br />Private Industry Council. The Cabarrus County Commissioners will <br />select and approve nominations for PIC members based on the slate <br />of nominations presented by the appropriate agencies and <br />organizations listed under "General Information". Each PIC member <br />is appointed to serve a two-year term.
