CABARRUS COUNTY <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES EVALUATION & AWARD <br />FISHERTOWN & GREYBARK CDBG PRO3ECT <br /> <br />This evaluation and award of Engineering Services for the Fishertown and Greybark <br />CDBG Project is based upon the Request for Proposal (RFP) sent out to all offerors: <br /> <br />Rating System Points <br /> <br />Tech Approach/Understanding 20 <br />Staffing Plan/Experience 15 <br />Experience w/County & Stark 10 <br />Fee Proposal 10 <br />Total 55 <br /> <br />Technical/Understanding: <br /> <br />Ali offerc <br /> <br />Concord. Cochran, however, had a better <br />understanding of the project as he assisted in the <br />preparation of the application for funding at no cost. <br /> <br />Staffing/Experience: <br /> <br />All offerors exhibit superior staffing and experience. <br /> <br />Experience w/County & Stark: All offerors have experience with Stark and 2 of the <br /> firms (Cochran and Concord) have worked with <br /> the County. <br /> <br />Fee Proposal: <br /> <br />Bill Cochran proposed the lower price, while Concord <br />Engineering failed to propose a not-to-exceed price. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Based upon this evaluation and with Cabarms County's <br />experience with Bill Cochran, it is recommended that <br />COCItRAN ENGINEERING be awarded the <br />Engineering contract. <br /> <br /> <br />
